A collection of logos/designs created for Agua Donkeys, not all of which were used due to budget restrictions. I was asked to create designs that evoked late-80's and 90's surfer aesthetic for all of these except the Landscaping logo, which had to be simple and easily understood.
My work process for designing the Brent's Watersports logo. The director wanted something that was clearly focused on kneeboarding rather than surfing in general. The first two logos were my initial concept: a kneeboarder riding a wave beneath the text. The director then asked me to incorporate the wave and remove the squared-off edges. To do so, I chose a more dynamic kneeboarding pose that crossed over the text so the wave would be flowing away from the kneeboarder. This was approved and simplified into the final design.
